You Have Not Failed.

A difficult chapter is not the same thing as a finished story.

Failure is often treated like a verdict. One result becomes an identity. One rejection becomes a definition. One missed opportunity becomes evidence that the person was never capable in the first place.

But life rarely works like that. A setback is information. Sometimes painful information, sometimes expensive information, but still information. It tells you something about the plan, the preparation, the timing, the environment or the direction.

The chapter is not the book.

When you are inside a difficult season, perspective becomes expensive. You can see the page you are on and mistake it for the ending. The better question is not “What does this say about me?” but “What can I learn, change and build from here?”

You have not failed simply because something failed. You are still becoming. You can revise the strategy, strengthen the skill, change the environment and try again with better information.

That does not make every outcome painless. It makes the outcome useful.
